Held, Amsterdam, ca. 1860 Binder Gruppe The windmill is hallmarked withSilver miniature of a skating couple, attributed to the silversmith Jacobus Held or his widow from Amsterdam. Active from 1845 to 1878 1890. The miniature is hallmarked with master's mark H2 and the sword mark for at least 2nd grade silver. This miniature was used on the cover of the catalog Alice in Silverland (see photo) and was therefore exhibited in the Museum Sterckhof in Antwerp. The miniature is in good condition. Weight: 7. 6 grams.
