Zilveren geboortelepel, driemaster, A.B. Looxma ,Sneek, ca. 1730 Zilversmid Wine and spices are usedFrisian silver birth spoon, made by Age Binses Looxma (Foot 532) from Sneek. This silversmith was active from 1720 to 1759. Age Binses Looxma was also mayor and from 1735 to 1752 inspector general of Friesland. The spoon has a double twisted stem (see Dutch small silver by Wttewaall, page 300). The spoon is crowned with a three masted ship. The spoon is marked with the master's mark cloverleaf.
